Anyone who gardens knows that certain tasks become more difficult with the passage of time. Injury, age and other physical conditions can all make gardening more of a challenge. But don't give up yet!! This presentation will address changes you can make to your garden to make it safter and more accessible. Get ideas from photos and discussion of options to accomodate many phyical limitations--allowing you to enjoy being outdoors in your yard.
About Donna Beronda
Donna Beronda is an Advanced Master Gardener with the University of Idaho Extension in Ada County. After retiring from a career in law enforcement, Donna became a Master Gardener in Butte County California and was active in numerous garden related organizations. Donna was determined to coninue gardening after knee replacement surgery made many tasks difficult and began making changes to her own garden design to accomodate her new reality. After moving to Idaho in 2016, Donna has continued to focus on ways to create gardens that are safe and accessible for all.
