Marketing Magic on a Budget

Kapi Thomas is the Director of Digital Sales for Lotus Communications which holds radio stations in ten markets across Idaho, California, Nevada, Washington, and Arizona. She leads over sixty sales executives in selling and executing digital products alongside the company’s over 50 radio stations. Working for Lotus over the last 9 years, Kapi has grown from an Account Executive selling the four local radio stations in Boise Idaho to the Director of the Digital Division, creating a new line of revenue for the corporation. The Digital Division for Lotus Communications has continued year-over-year growth resulting in a new line of revenue for the privately held family owned and operated company.

Kapi attended community college for two years before entering the workforce as a Sales Manager for Hilton Hotels and quickly grew in the ranks for multiple large hotel brands over the next 10 years. She loved her time in Hospitality but found a new career in advertising when she moved to Boise in 2016. In 2021 Kapi and her husband Nic became parents and business owners! Their son, Everett, is 4 years old and is the center of their world. They opened Section 37 Axe Throwing Room in Garden City, Idaho December of 2021 and are loving the entrepreneurial experience of owning their own business! When they are not chasing their toddler or at the axe room, Kapi and Nic enjoy nights at the Shakespeare Festival and taking trips to visit family.
